Kidderminster and District Netball League has been organising netball events in the Wyre Forest area for over 70 years.
We are a Netball League that affiliates to England Netball and have been playing at the Stourport Netball Dome since it opened in 2009. The league is run by a committee of volunteers. During a normal year we organise a winter and a summer league.
Teams are eligible to enter as long as they are affiliated to England Netball and their players are adults or juniors in school year 9 or above.
The winter league runs from October to March with matches held on Saturdays from 1pm. It usually comprises 4 divisions involving around 30 teams.
The summer league runs from April to August with matches held on Thursday evenings from around 6.45pm. This league usually has 4/5 divisions involving up to 35 teams.
Anyone wishing to find out more information about the leagues should email either the Match Secretary Wendy Cavendish wendy.cavendish@googlemail.com or KDNL Chair Sue Jones-Percival. sjonespercival@aol.com
There are opportunities for both junior and adult players to join local netball clubs. There are 4 clubs that facilitate training sessions for juniors and adults and all but one are Clubmark accredited. They play matches at the Stourport Netball Dome in both KDNL and the Worcestershire Youth Netball League.
Wyre Forest CRC was founded in 1977 and quickly established itself with a core of enthusiastic members, becoming active both socially and on the local road racing and time trial scene. We soon became known as ‘the friendly club’ due to the welcome new and prospective members were shown; an attitude that has remained to the current day.
Now, 40 years later, we have grown to become one of the most diverse and successful cycling clubs in the country, with a strong youth and female membership. Recent years have seen us achieve Go-Ride status and also achieve the prestigious Club Mark status through British Cycling. In 2010 a new purpose built 1.6km tarmac cycling circuit was constructed at Stourport Sports Club (SSC). The circuit was further enhanced with the addition of floodlighting in 2014 and a cut through modifications in 2020.
Wyre Forest CRC is based at Stourport Sports Club and is the home club of the Stourport Cycle Circuit, giving access to the superb new clubhouse facilities in addition to free priority time on the circuit for club members. Although we are based in Stourport, our members are spread over Worcestershire, from Pershore, through Worcester up to Bridgnorth and Birmingham.
We are not just a racing club; many of our members never race or ride competitively, but enjoy club runs, training rides, many social evenings and just being out on the bike with friends that they have made through the club.
Club members receive a huge range of benefits including free coaching by British Cycling coaches, discounts at local bike shops, discounts on training DVD’s, reduced club TT entry fees, training rides, club runs, Go-Ride youth coaching, velodrome trips, casual clothing, Endura club kit, etc.
There are a variety of membership types available, ranging from youth ( under 12s and 12years -15years) , junior ( 16 and 17 years) , senior ( 18 years plus) and family packages.

We also have U11 and U13 teams that participate in local leagues. All our juniors over 13 who want to are able to also play in our club sides on Saturdays.
